A mission to become the youngest person to bike all 282 Scottish Munros (mountains over 914m).

Starting June 1st and ending when I finish!

A mission to understand the current placement of mountain biking on Munros and the affects on conservation. To discover how this can be improved and end with biking becoming a force for good

Use this website to track my progress throughout the adventure, not only by seeing the ones I’ve already done but also through live track!

A huge thank you to my sponsors who have allowed me to undertake such a mission!

Hello and Welcome,

My name’s Arran Evison

And this is A Man and His Bike

Who is A Man and His Bike

My name is Arran Evison, originally from Wales, however I now live in Fort William after completing my Adventure Education course at the University of Highlands and Islands in town. I have always wanted to test my limits physically and emotionally so what better task to undertake than one that mixes my passion for the outdoors and its preservation.

If over the next couple months you wish to buy me a coffee or a pint for my efforts on the Munros please donate that couple quid to Glencoe Mountain Rescue instead. I am supporting them as I want to give back to those who are there to help us when we get stuck in this beautiful landscape. I know a couple memberes personally and I know the money would go much further in their hands than it would in mine! Thank you so much.
